Fall Checklist

Autumn…a season filled with pumpkin spice, brisk air, leaves rustling in the wind, warm apple pie, and challenging corn mazes. Autumn is generally considered the end of the growing season and naturally triggers the harvest season.

As a novice gardener, I can appreciate the immense effort it takes to cultivate a harvest. The grueling hours of prepping, planting, watering, weeding, and adjusting for whatever mother nature throws at you are not for the faint at heart. But the mouthwatering fruits and vegetables fresh off the vine are worth it.

The immense sense of pride and accomplishment that you experience when you see the result of your labor is extremely gratifying.

The truth is that a garden rarely turns out exactly as planned; however, if you continue to plan and adjust as necessary, then you will eventually reap a harvest that is better than you could imagine.
