Our Story
Jessica found herself caught in the relentless grind of the corporate world. For years, she poured every ounce of her energy into climbing the corporate ladder, sacrificing her personal dreams for the sake of the company’s success. While she earned multiple accolades and a significant salary, something felt amiss. She was drifting through life, trapped in a routine that left her feeling empty and unfulfilled.
From a young age, Jessica aspired to be a financial planner. But upon entering the workforce, she quickly discovered that the primary role of a financial advisor was far from what she had envisioned – it was often about pushing products that didn’t truly serve clients’ best interests. Disheartened but undeterred, she pivoted to a career in Accounting, using her detail-oriented problem-solving skills to help others, yet the yearning to guide people towards true financial wealth never left her.
In 2017, everything changed when Jessica made the bold decision to opt out of working 80-hour weeks to live a life of balance. She sought to reclaim her life, striving for a life brimming with meaning. A life where she could:
Attend family dinners and her children’s sporting events
Volunteer in her community
Live on a ranch with horses and a garden
Travel to experience new sites and cultures
These became her new priorities. This pivotal moment fueled her passion for helping others define their own meaningful lives.
Returning to her life-long calling, she joined a faith-based Fortune 500 company as a financial planner in 2019, only to soon realize she wanted more. In 2022, she launched Do Wealth Different, where she partners with clients to explore what true wealth means to them. Jessica takes the time to dive deep to clarify their goals, aspirations, and priorities, crafting tailored financial plans that achieve a vibrant, purpose filled life.

Jessica is a Christian, coffee lover, and Enneagram Type One. If you know her at all, then you know she loves God and loves people, and she absolutely loves what she gets to do every single day.
She has a formal education in Financial Planning from Kaplan University, Accounting from Arkansas State University, and Organizational Leadership from John Brown University.
She has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation - the highest marks in the industry.
Jessica has been married to her better half, David, for more than 20 years, and has three spunky children, Cadon, Sydney, and Ryann. She truly enjoys serving alongside non-profits that support foster care, adoption, veterans, and furthering the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In her spare time, you can find her outside hiking, biking, boating, or working on her ranch.
